Indulge your inner Flower Child with this modern take on 70’s Retro Crochet!
You will need approx. 1700 – 1800m of DK weight yarn to make a blanket that is the given size below. You can also use a different yarn weight to make a smaller or larger blanket, using a matching hook – bear in mind your yardage requirements will vary. You can make a larger blanket by adding more multiples, details given in notes. Flexible pattern and perfect stash buster!
Includes detailed picture tutorial and a chart with order of colours - row by row.
There is no limit to colour combinations that you can use. I have given you a colour recipe to use but have fun trying your own!
Materials
Deramores Studio DK; 250m per 100g ball; 100% acrylic
• Shiraz 70007- 1 ball
• Raspberry 70005 - 1 ball
• Jade 70053 - 1 ball
• Aqua Green 70054 - 1 ball
• Burnt Orange 70059 - 1 ball
• Mustard 70058- 1 ball
• Fuchsia 70004 - 1 ball
• US H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
• Yarn Needle
You can use any DK/light worsted yarn, or Aran/worsted weight – just remember to match your hook to your yarn
Gauge is not important
Measurements
Blanket is approx. 38in 96cm wide and 48in 123cm long (excluding tassels)
