“This design uses garter stitch ridges and cable twists to create a series of incomplete diamond shapes,” says Emma Vining. “When the broken diamond blocks are combined with horizontal lines of garter stitch, a tumbling effect is created. The broken blocks are all worked in the same direction, adding an asymmetric element to the design.”
