Reed Market Bag
The bottom of this bag is worked back and forth beginning with a provisional cast-on. Then, stitches are picked up around the other three edges of the bottom and the bag is worked in the round. When the body of the bag is complete, the front and the moss stitch sections of the back are bound off, leaving the cabled side panels to be worked for straps, and the cabled back panels to be worked for buttonhole tabs.
