A big woolly hug, as comforting to knit as it is to wear

Réconfort means “Comfort” in French and that’s what this shawl is all about. It’s a big and easy triangular shawl. It knits up quickly on big needles holding two strands of yarn together throughout. The DK Tweed gives it a delightful rustic look while being very soft and the Mohair & Soie adds a lovely fluffy halo to the fabric.

Note: I used up all the DK for this shawl so make sure you have enough yarn. That being said, the shawl size is easily customizable with the garter stitch border.

Un grand châle tout doux, aussi réconfortant à tricoter qu’à porter

Réconfort est un grand châle triangulaire, simple et rapide à tricoter. Il associe un point de dentelle « pomme de pin » à du point mousse et se travaille en tricotant ensemble un fil de DK Tweed et un fil de Mohair & Soie. Le résultat est un châle enveloppant, avec un beau drapé, chaud et doux, parfait pour s’envelopper aux premiers signes de l’hiver.

Note: J’ai utilisé toute la DK pour mon châle, assurez-vous d’avoir assez de laine. Ceci dit, la taille du châle est facilement ajustable grâce à sa bordure au point mousse.
