Rayonner
by Mary Pranica
Knit in worsted weight wool, Rayonner is created when cables converge. Purls diminish as you knit, and the cables come together to create a cozy cowl, verging on capelet.
On cabling…
-I’ve always used a cable needle. That is until this project. So many cables. So much fiddling with an extra needle. If you want to cable without a cable needle, Nancy Wynn has a fabulous tutorial on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0MWP13Suzs. It’s a real life saver and makes continual cabling seem to go much faster. Bonus: you don’t have to keep asking yourself, “Where did I put my cable needle?” I know because I have chased mine down the couch cushions a couple of times.
