Raven Pullover
The Raven Pullover is inspired from traditional Northwest Coast Indigenous art traditions, specifically from my people, the Tahltan. I’ve been looking for a way to incorporate traditional motifs without offering an appropriative design.
So much has been taken from Indigenous peoples all over the planet. Honouring and appreciating other cultures can be done with respect.
This design draws from traditional Formline Art (Formline is the term used to describe the traditional art stylings of the Northwest Coast of North America) with a Conceptual Art flavouring.

PATTERN NOTES
The Raven Pullover is an oversized, boxy cropped sweater with drop shoulders and an intarsia pattern on the front and back. The body is knit flat and seamed, the sleeves are picked up at the shoulder and knit in the round.
Be sure to do a gauge swatch that is fully wet blocked. Single ply yarn can undergo significant changes with blocking.
