Rannoch Shawl
Taking inspiration from woven tartan fabrics, Carol Meldrum has created this colourful shawl knitted in in seven shades of Rowan Felted Tweed. Her design has an asymmetric triangular shape, and is knitted in garter stitch throughout following a sequence of horizontal stripes. Vertical stripes are then added by weaving lengths of yarn under and over the garter stitch bumps, to look like tartan.
