I just love this stitch pattern. I have for a very long time.

I knew I had to incorporate it into a shawl design, and I knew I had to use Greenwood Fiberworks, Yakity Yak yarn. The colors are wonderful, and it is a blend that includes Yak. So the yarn is very soft, and blocks beautifully.

What makes this stitch special is when you use it as an allover pattern, it makes a lovely climbing leaf. To make the border standout, I changed colors to Pumpkin. It created a nice ripple affect and blends well with the Apricot.
