Raining Leaves is a top-down DK slipper sock with a short row heel, and shaping above the heel for a better fit. The instep textured pattern is created with a simple series of stitches that create a lacy, diagonal motif. The slipper sock mock-welted sole is easily converted to a stockinette sole if desired.

Sizes:
Negative ease is built into the sock, knit the size closest to your actual foot measurement
Small (S)- 7.5-inch (19cm) foot circumference
Medium (M)- 8.5-inch (21.5cm) foot circumference
Large (L)- 9.5-inch (24cm) foot circumference

Materials:
• Approximately 175-300 yards (160-275 meters) of DK weight yarn. Samples shown in Republic of Wool DK in Carnelian and OOAK
• Size US 3 (3.25mm) circular needles for magic loop, or one set of 5 size US 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles (or size needed to obtain gauge).
• Tapestry needle
• Measuring tape
