What do ducks eat with soup? … Quackers!
This little duck is worked mostly in stockinette, with increases and decreases for shaping and a striped body. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the duck is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads and felt fabric for eyes.
SIZES
One size only - 18cm tall.
TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes and seaming to finish.
