Pythagorean with a Twist
The haloed fabric created by holding soft worsted merino and ethereal silk & mohair is something you’ll want to stay snuggled in. The moebius join will keep this wrap on your shoulders, whether wrapped once or twice.
3 skeins Shepherds Wool Worsted 250 yards each skein, shown in Garnet
4 balls Rowan KidSilk Haze 229 yards each ball, shown in Blood
Gauge in pattern 18 stitches and 20 rows to 4 inches. Sample was knit with US9 32” circular needles. You will want 2 sets, or 1 set of tips and 2 cables if you have those handy interchangeables
Finished piece is about 19 x 60
Worked back and forth from a provisional cast on then grafted after adding the twist.
Skills needed: Provisional Cast-on, combing knits & purls, grafting.
