Puzzled
“The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo: she succeeded in getting its body tucked away, comfortably enough, under her arm, with its legs hanging down, but generally, just as she had got its neck nicely straightened out, and was going to give the hedgehog a blow with its head, it WOULD twist itself round and look up in her face, with such a puzzled expression that she could not help bursting out laughing” - Alice in Wonderland
These twisty fingerless mitts come in sizes Women’s XS[S, M, L, XL] to fit hand circumferences above thumb of 17[18, 19, 20, 21.5]cm / 6⅝ [7⅛, 7½, 7⅞, 8½]“.
The design has a lot of negative ease (around 4cm / 1½”) to open the cable pattern.
Shown in main picture in size Women’s M.
The instructions are mainly written, only the cable pattern is charted.
Available as a combined pattern (eBook) with the glove version Managing Your Flamingo.
With lots of thanks to my wonderful test knitters!
