PATTERN INFORMATION
The Purpureal Shawl is worked from the top down, starting at the center and increasing outwards. The main pattern is an easy-to-memorize two-row repeat. It consists mostly of treble crochets and chain spaces, creating an interesting fabric that is both open and lacey, as well as textured and three-dimensional. A delicate, lace border is added last to decorate the edge of the shawl.
