A handful of finger puppets will brighten anybody’s day. All it takes is a small amount of fingering yarn to make a pig, a frog, a cat, a bird, and an elephant. Each body is a ribbed tube crowned by a carefully shaped head. Ears, arms, wings, and tails are added during finishing. Suitable for ages 3 and up.

Yarn Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Shetland wool; 115 yd 105 m/ 0.88 oz 25 g): #435 apricot (peach; A), #252 birch (brown; B), #119 sholmit/ mooskit (gray; C), #750 petrol (blue; D), #812 prairie (green; E), 1 skein each. Small amounts of #390 daffodil (yellow; F), #101 Shetland black (G), and #104 natural white (H) for beak and faces. Yarn distributed by Simply Shetland.
Needles Size 1 (2.25 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
