This is a 2-in-1 pattern for sweaters and cardigans!
You can choose whether you want to knit the Primula Cardigan in the round or knit it flat (back and forth). If you choose to knit flat, you won’t need to cut and sew for steeking. Just follow the pattern, but skip casting on the steek stitches. In that case, you also won’t need to pick up stitches for the button bands/facings.

Most knitters tend to knit tighter when knitting colourwork than when knitting plain stockinette stitch. Therefore, this pattern instructs you to go up half a needle size when knitting the colourwork section. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.
