The Pretty Pockets Advent Calendar features 24 unique pocket designs made using a variety of techniques including tapestry crochet, applique, surface crochet and basic embroidery. The pattern is written in UK terminology.

Calendar measures 54 x 54cm (21¼ x 21¼ in) after border

You will need
A 4mm (US G) crochet hook
A dowel approx. 60cm long (to hang your calendar)
24 gift tags, 7x2cm (optional)

Yarn
Any DK cotton can be used to work this project. I’ve made calendars using both of the yarn brands listed below. Alternatively, you can have a shop around in your own yarn stash at home.
