My last birthday beginning with digit 3 deserves a celebration. Next year, I’ll be a proper grown-up ;)
So let’s celebrate today with this Pretty Brioche Thing which I made for everyone wanting to try brioche. It’s so super easy, you can even use your favorite CO to begin the cowl ;) Just grab two skeins of bulky yarn and have fun brioching!
One Size
Circumference: 60cm/24”.
Height: approx. 25cm/10”.
Yarn
2 skeins of Martin’s Lab Big Singles - 80% merino, 20% nylon; 70m/77y per 100g.
Sample shown in colorways: MC – Carousel, CC – Gilbert Grape; 1 skein each.
Needles
8mm/US #11 or size needed for gauge, 40cm/16” circular.
Other Notions
stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
9.5 sts x 13 rounds over 10cm/4” in unstretched Brioche stitch worked in the round with needle 8mm/US #11.
