Powerful Pleats
by Gwen Bortner
Add movement and sass to a skirt with pleats. We take a fine linen, Navajo ply it for the body of the skirt, then use it doubled for the generous knife-pleated hem. The plying allows you to knit the same yarn at two gauges, and blends the colors within the hand-dyed yarn.
