Posy Pocket Scarf
The Posy Pocket Scarf is a fun project that works up nice and fast. It has side-slit pockets, these are optional but a fab addition to keep those hands cozy and is designed using the overlay mosaic technique.
The pattern is written to work a 152cm (length) x 29cm (width) scarf, excluding the fringe. Yarn thickness, hook size and tension may affect the overall size.
Uses US terminology and metric sizing.
Skill level - Easy
Stitch Diagram available in the pattern.
Materials
• Yarn weight – Acrylic DK (slightly thicker DK).
• Hook size – 4.5mm.
• Masking tape & scissors – for making straight edges on
tassels.
• Needle – for sewing in ends.
• Stitch markers.
Yarn Quantities
• A – Colour A – 250g / 645 metres.
• B – Colour B – 250g / 645 metres.
Tension and Gauge
• It is recommended that you work up a gauge swatch to ensure
the scarf will be the desired size when completed.
• Gauge swatch – using a 4.5mm hook – 16 sc x 17 rows = 10cm x
10cm.
The scarf is totally adaptable to suit any yarn type and create any scarf length. However, depending on the yarn and tension, you may have a size difference.
The pattern does not have step by step photo tutorials.
