Positive Vibes
This pattern almost looks like it’s vibrating and made me feel happy to knit, so I decided to call it “Positive Vibes”
- I also gave my original one as a “positive vibes” gift to a friend - it makes her smile and it makes me smile to see her wearing it.
Who will yours be for ?
Relaxing mosaic knitting (just one colour per row) is given extra pizazz by using a gradient yarn.
The bind-off uses my own special “faux I-cord” - I personally prefer it to I-cord because it lays flat (plus it’s quicker and easier to work - and doesn’t take as much yarn - what’s not to like ? ) but if you prefer traditional icord you can use that instead.
The original used a single skein of the Freia Ombre with a contrasting solid.
Yardage given is the total - allow 1/2 for each yarn.
BECAUSE OF THE COLOURWORK - THE PATTERN IS CHARTED - IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, WHY NOT DROP IN TO THE MOSAIC KNITTING THREAD IN THE STITCHNERDS GROUP - click here for link
Clarification: the symbol on the LH side of the chart is for the icord edge - the k2 and sl2 instruction in the key is for the 2 sts - so for each symbol just work 1 stitch.
Many thanks to the testers:
