HAND DYED YARNS hold a special place in our hearts, and Anniken Allis has used a beautiful example from Scottish-based indie dyer DyeNinja for her lace shawl. The 4ply-weight fine merino yarn has been dyed a dark grey overlaid with cobalt and navy, for a subtly iridescent effect. Anniken’s crescent-shaped shawl features two diamond lace patterns, with a zigzag design of eyelets around the lower edge which is blocked out into scallops.
Pattern is charted and written out in full.
