Porcelain Wrap
Caroline Birkett’s wrap design features a pattern of checks with an interesting woven effect. The coloured squares and rectangles are knitted in a slip stitch pattern worked in three different colours, and are separated by a grid of twisted stitches. An applied i-cord edging along the two long sides of the wrap give a neat finish. Caroline has used The Croft DK yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners. This smooth Shetland wool provides excellent stitch definition.
