Inspired by the oversized food art of the fabulous Pop Artist Claes Oldenberg, this lovely big donut cushion will add a fun touch to any room. You can also create one as a cute floor cushion for your little one.

The EbonyAndTeal Pop Art Donut Cushion pdf knitting pattern gives you clear step by step instructions and is suitable for a beginner knitter. If working to the recommended tension, the finished cushion should be approximately 16.5 inches (42cm) in diameter.

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm or as per tension advice) – you may wish to use longer knitting needles than usual or a circular needle
100g beige DK yarn (e.g. Paintbox Simply DK 107 ‘Vanilla Cream’) 1
00g pink DK yarn (e.g. Paintbox Simply DK 156 ‘Neon Pink’ or 151 ‘Lipstick Pink’)
Oddments of blue and white yarn or embroidery floss (optional)
Polyfil toy stuffing
Tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and Decreasing, some embroidery

Stitches used: Stocking stitch, Reverse stocking stitch
