This stockinette hat uses a simple technique to create a hole in the back of the hat for you to rock your ponytail through.

Child (19-20” head circumference) / Small (20-21”) / Medium (21-22”) / Large (22.5-23.5”) 48-50cm / 50-53cm / 53-56cm / 57-60 cm

Materials
75-225 yards/70-205m of worsted weight yarn

Size US 6/4.0mm/ and 8/5.0mm needles, 16” 40cm circular needles, as well as DPNs or a longer circular for magic loop for the decreases (larger size only).

Gauge
5 sts/inch 2.5cm in stockinette on larger needles.
Row gauge isn’t important for this pattern, as you’ll just knit until you’ve reached the proper height for the size you’re knitting.
