Poncho PonchoPancho

The Poncho is knitted top-down starting with the turtle neck collar. Seamless and without binding off the collar blends into the poncho shape.

Due to regular increases the poncho is becoming wider until it fits well on the shoulders. Then there are only further increases for the front an back part until the desired length is reached (therefore suitable for various body heights). Shortly before the end, you go on knitting with a contrast yarn. Should you rather go on without a contrasting color, you can do so. At the end the fringes are included.

Der Poncho wird oben am Hals begonnen, der Rollkragen gestrickt. Ohne Naht, ohne abzuketten geht der Kragen direkt in die Ponchoform über.

Durch regelmässige Zunahmen wird der Poncho immer weiter, bis er gut auf den Schultern sitzt. Danach wird nur noch für den Vorder- und den Rückenteil zugenommen, bis die gewünschte Länge erreicht ist (also für kleinere und grössere Körpergrösse geeignet). Kurz vor Ende strickst Du dann mit einem Kontrastgarn weiter, möchtest Du keinen Kontrast, strickst Du bis zum Ende mit dem Hauptgarn, zum Schluss werden die Fransen eingearbeitet.
