Poet top
The Poet top has the same lace pattern as my popular Poet sweater pattern.
The Poet top is knitted seamlessly from the top down with an allover lace pattern on the body. The back and front are knitted separately down to the armholes. Then the pieces are joined and the body is knitted in the round. The hem is folded double to give the top a neat and finished look. The top of the front and back are finished with an i-cord edging that continues seamlessly into the straps.
The Poet top is best suited for cotton, viscose or linen blend yarns with good stitch definition. I recommend choosing unicolor or slightly tonal colorways for the lace to show.
