Knit a parade of purr-fect Pocket Cats for yourself or your favourite cat loving friend.  This set includes a quintet of tiny toy cats in different poses: seated, stretching, standing and lying, plus the rug, food bowl and yarn ball. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cats are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), the tails are i-cord worked on two DPNs, and the collars are single crochet chains. Patch (the white cat) uses intarsia colour-work so is slightly more advanced, but the other cats are suitable for advanced beginner/intermediate knitters.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming, toy filling, toy safety eyes, a 4mm crochet hook and 4 ply yarns to embroider the nose and whiskers.

SIZES
One size only - The seated cats are 8cm tall and the lying cats are 9cm long (measured from nose to bottom).

TECHNIQUES
Other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
