Plinth Mitts are a fast and simple knit with an interesting construction. Start with a sideways knit garter cuff for a rib effect, then work a simple texture over the back of the hand before finishing the edges with an i-cord bind off. Choose from 4 sizes to knit up a pair for anyone on your gift list - just pick a solid or semi solid yarn in your recipient’s favorite color!

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round, picking up stitches, increases, and decreases. Detailed descriptions are included for all special techniques: Figure 8 Cast On, 3 Needle Bind Off, and I Cord Bind Off. A video tutorial link is also included for for the Figure 8 Cast On technique.
