Pisac
If you add 4 of my designs to your cart, the least expensive one will be free ~ enjoy!
Pisac is named for a charming town in Peru’s Sacred Valley region, a keepsake of my visit to the artisan market there. This colorful market was overflowing with soft woolens and fascinating textiles, set against a stunning backdrop of terraced mountains, Incan ruins and a brilliant blue sky. I couldn’t resist trying to capture a little of what I saw in this triangular wrap.
Pisac is knitted in fingering-weight yarn from the top down. It is a medley of reversible textured stitch patterns that complement one another and are simple to work, finished with a delicate picot edging.
Pisac is both entertaining to knit and easy to wear. Keep it handy to warm your shoulders on a summer evening, or to wrap snugly around your neck on a brisk winter day.
Fully written instructions are provided, along with an optional chart for one of the stitch patterns.
