Pique for Smartness
Pique, clean and cool, has been gradually creeping into favour, until now we find it so firmly established as a fashion note that it even trims our knitted wear.
THIS little jumper has instant appeal because of its simplicity, both of line and of stitch, and should be welcomed as a many-purpose addition to the holiday wardrobe.
A jumper in cotton with a pique collar. Wide and small ribs make the pattern.
MATERIALS: 4 balls of cotton; No 11 needles; 2 buttons
MEASUREMENTS: To fit a 34-inch bust; length to the underarm seam, 14½ inches; sleeve at the underarm seam, 10½ inches.
