Sizes 
Finished size: 18.6 (21.3, 24) in, or 47 (54, 61) cm. 
to fit: 20 (22, 24) in, or 51 (56, 61) cm, head.
Shown in: 21.3 in (54 cm) size, on 22 in (56 cm) head.
Gauge 
18 stitches and 30 rows / 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette, lightly blocked.
Suggested Needles 
Size 5 US (3.75 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular needles 
Size 7 US (4.5 mm) 16” (41 cm) circular needles 
Size 7 US double pointed needles
or size to obtain correct gauge
Special Techniques 
Lace, nupps.
In this pattern, I was inspired by Estonian lace and its use of nupps as textured, decorative accents.
