Pines Cardi is an open cardigan or spring jacket with a very simple tree pattern worked along the bottom. Pines is worked in one piece from the bottom up, separated for the armholes and then using short row sleeve caps the sleeves are picked up and worked down. The only seaming is at the shoulders.

2 ply 90% Wool/ 10% Kid Mohair by Beaverslide Dry Goods (90% merino, 10% kid mohair; 4 oz
skein = approx 241 yards)
• 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7) skeins Aspen Bark
• Approx yards: 870 (945, 1050, 1110, 1200, 1275, 1350, 1435, 1530) yards
Needles
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 9 (5.5 mm). (pc is worked flat circ needle is used
to accommodate large number of sts)
• One set of double pointed needles (dpns) size US 9 (5.5 mm). (for sleeves)
