PIANETA è uno scialle a mezzaluna realizzato in collaborazione con mYak, un brand italiano famoso per i suoi filati in yak tibetano acquistato direttamente dai piccoli produttori nomadi. Lo scialle è decorato con un motivo che si estende da parte a parte, realizzato con serie di maglie cadute disposte a formare dei cerchi che richiamano delle sfere celesti – da cui appunto il nome “Pianeta”.

○ Ferri 3,50mm: la lavorazione è in piano, ma si consigliano frri circolari con cavo sufficientemente lungo (almeno 100cm) per ospitare tutte le maglie
○ 4 marcapunti
○ Ago da lana
○ Opzionale ma raccomandato: filo di cotone sottile per safe line

PLANET is a crescent shaped shawl designed in collaboration with mYak, an Italian brand known worldwide for its Tibetan yak yarns, ethically sourced from small nomad producers.
The shawl features a series of dropped stitches that produce runs in the fabric shaped like celestial sphere – hence the name “Planet”.

MATERIALS
○ YARN: mYak Lace, 50g / 350m -380yd (100% Baby Yak) – 2 skeins
○ 3.50mm (US4) needles: the shawl is knitted back and forth, but circular needles are recommended. Use a cable long enough to accomodate all the stitches (at least 100cm, 40”)
○ 4 stitch markers
○ Tapestry needles
○ Optional but recommended: some fine cotton thread to place a lifeline

Measured over 1/1 rib stitch, not stretched, after washing and blocking.
