Phoenix Rising
The dramatic, iconic PHOENIX has been the symbol of strength and majesty since the dawn of time; the native American Indians, Germany, the Roman Empire and Egypt just to mention a few.
Fear not the lace or the beading. This amazing garment is knitted using only two stitches, knit and purl. Everyone has made yarn overs whether intentionally or not. Choose a lace weight or a very light fingering yarn.
Go forward, knit, design and wear this is a statement piece remembering the strength, protection and power of those who wore the symbol of the PHOENIX.
Finished dimensions:
I blocked mine pretty aggressively, so the final measurements on mine are: 36” deep (neckline to bottom) and 60” wide (closer to the top edge). Not including the fringe.
Hope this helps.
