The Pettson Vest is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The back piece is worked in reverse stockinette, with the wrong side facing, while the fronts are worked with the right side out. The v-neck and optional pocket add a classic touch, and the notch in the buttonband add a contemporary feel. Choose a marled yarn for a salt and pepper look or choose your favourite colour for the perfect go-to layer on chilly days!

The body of the vest is worked back and forth on a long circular needle. The button band is worked back and forth on a long circular needle, and the armhole edges are worked in the round using either a short circular needle, DPNs, or a long circular needle and the magic loop technique.
