Historic pattern from 1844 found in Mee’s Companion to the work-table, containing selections in knitting, netting and crochet-work, 1844, p. 118-119.
Pattern is crocheted sideways in 6 row repeats in slip stitch, seamed together, a bottom slip stitched edging and fabric waistband added. Stitch pattern may be repeated until size needed is completed.
Should take about 650-700 grams of 4-ply fingering weight Bluefaced Leicester as written.
