Petrolia Tides Shawlette
This shawlette is knitted lengthwise using short rows to create the shaping. Every row is shorter than the last, like knitting downhill! 3 small buttons are optional for holding it in place.
SKILL LEVEL
Beginner - Intermediate
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
51” long and 12” wide after blocking
YARN
1 skein of Lost Coast Yarn’s Fingering Weight
(100% Wool, 450 yards)
NEEDLES
30” – 40” circular needle US size 4
GAUGE
20 sts & 48 rows = 4” in unblocked garter stitch.
Matching gauge is not crucial for this project, but aim for approximation.
