MATERIALS
Yarn
MC - Retrosaria Mondim (Fingering weight; 100% non-superwash Wool; 421 yd / 384 m per 100 g skein)
1 skein in #110
CC- Approx 15g of sock yarn in a contrasting colour. We used Knitting For Olive Merino in Pearl Grey
Needles
A set of five 2.25mm (US 1) DPNS
or needles required to obtain correct gauge
Notions
Removable stitch marker, stitch markers, tapestry needle
GAUGE
30 sts & 42 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on 2.25mm (US 1) DPNs, blocked
MEASUREMENTS
ONE SIZE
Cuff / Foot Circumference (unstretched): approx 7.5” / 19 cm
Leg Height: 6” / 15 cm
Foot Length: Adjustable.
NOTES
These socks are knit from the cuff down to the toe. The heel is shaped using the heel flap method and the toe is grafted together with Kitchener stitch. Instructions are written for double pointed needles, however Magic Loop technique can be used if preferred. if using Magic Loop, place a marker for each needle change when setting up gusset. Foot length is adjustable. Leg circumference is adjustable by changing pattern gauge.
