A summer sock inspired by the Oregon Coast. Perle Cottage sock is knit toe-up and has a textured pattern instep that works well with a variety of sock yarns from solid to speckled to highly variegated. This sock has a gusset and short-row heel, with no heel flap or picking-up of short-row wraps. There are three different cuff options, starting with a super simple rolled cuff, then two styles of welted cuff. This pattern has both written instructions and charts for the instep patterning, and a picture tutorial for the welted cuff.
The charts are on pages 8 & 9, and the picture tutorial is on page 10, in case you choose not to print this portion to save paper.
