Periwinkle
by Susie Johns
These flowers are small – about 7cm (less than 3 inches) – across. I made them using one of my favourite yarns, Jamieson & Smith’s 2-ply jumper-weight 100% Shetland wool, but I guess any 4-ply weight would be suitable, or maybe a sock yarn like Regia. The pattern states 2.25mm needles but I am a loose knitter so use a larger needle if necessary, to produce a fairly firm, tight tension.
