This is a pattern for a coat for a toy dog, that will keep him/her both warm and free from the snow and rain. The coat is comprised of a cabled back, and is knitted on two circular needles, in US size #4 and US size #3, and requires approximately 500 - 750 yards of yarn.

The size of the coat is approximately: Height of 8-9 inches at the shoulder, a body Length of roughly 12-15.5 inches, and a Girth (around chest): 13-16 inch range. There’s tips on changing the size so it will fit your pooch. The pattern also includes: (a leash holder) as well as leg coverings for the front paws..

Skill level: Intermediate (assuming cabling skills and ability to knit in the round)
