Peite is worked seamlessly from the top down. The button band is worked last, attaching it to the work as you go.

Length from front neck to hem (with neckline ribbing): 51.5 (52.5, 54, 56) (57.5, 59.5, 62, 63) cm / 20.75 (21, 21.5, 22.25) (23, 23.5, 24.75, 25.25)”.
Length from underarm to hem: 26 (26, 26, 27) (28, 29, 30, 31) cm / 10.5 (10.5, 10.5, 10.75) (11.25, 11.5, 12, 12.5)”.
Sleeve length from underarm: 44 cm / 17.5” all sizes.
Upper sleeve circumference: 40 (42.5, 44.5, 47) (49.5, 52, 54, 55) cm / 16 (17, 18, 18.75) (19.75, 20.75, 21.75, 22)”.
Recommended positive ease 10–25 cm / 4–10”. Sample shown with approx. 20 cm / 8” of positive ease. If you choose your size with less positive ease, you might need to make the sleeves and hem longer than instructed.
MATERIALS
Yarn: Soft by Isager (56% baby alpaca, 44% organic pima cotton, 125 m / 137 yds – 50 g) in colourway E0, and Alpaca 1 by Isager (100% alpaca, 400 m / 437 yds – 50 g) in colourway E0.
Hold the two yarns together throughout the work.
Yarn requirement:
Isager Soft: 300 (340, 370, 400) (430, 460, 500, 530) g.
Isager Alpaca 1: 95 (100, 110, 120) (130, 140, 155, 170) g.
Or approx. 750 (850, 925, 1000) (1075, 1150, 1250, 1325) m / 820 (930, 1012, 1094) (1176, 1258, 1367, 1449) yds of one yarn or two yarns held together that give you the correct gauge. A fluffy yarn recommended.
Other alternatives to Soft by Isager: Poppy by Sandnes Garn, Brushed Alpaca Silk by Drops and Natural Alpaca Pelo by Lana Grossa. Other alternatives to Isager Alpaca 1: Alpaca Lace by Cascade Yarns, Alpaca Cloud Lace by Knit Picks or any lace-weight silk mohair yarn that you like.
Needles: 5 mm (US 8) and 5.5 mm (US 9) circular needles with 80–100 cm / 32–40” cable and one 5 mm (US 8) DPN for the button band. Additionally, 5 mm (US 8) and 5.5 mm (US 9) DPNs for the sleeves, if not using the magic loop technique. Or size needed to get the correct gauge.
Notions: 4 removable stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, 3 (3, 3, 3) (4, 4, 4, 4) buttons (or desired number), tapestry needle.

17 sts and 25 rows in stockinette stitch on 5.5 mm (US 9) needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”, after blocking
