From book: Knit in ribbon yarn, this inventive creation is perfect for Big Girls with shapely, generous booties. If you’ve got saddlebags you don’t want noticed, though, this skirt isn’t for you. Inspired by the skin of an orange, Peel starts in a point at the waist, and gets wider as it wraps around your body. After one wrap, the strip stops getting wider, ending with an asymmetrical hemline at any length you want. This unusual construction means that you can change the size once it’s finished without reknitting the whole thing—just unravel the waistband, take out the seam, and wrap the skirt into a narrower or wider tube. How’s that for custom fit?
