A Proud Peacock worked into the Tunisian panel centers the beautiful afghan. It is bordered by bright circular centered granny squares, and a second border trimmed with picots.
Gauge:
With H hook: Rounds 1-3 of the granny square measures 3 3/4 inches across. 2 sc & 2 ch sps = 1 inch. Each Granny square is 5 inches square.
With H afghan hook: 4 afghan sts = 1 inch, 7 afghan st rows = 2 inches.
Materials: Worsted yarn- 42 oz lt green fleck, 8 oz each warm brown & med blue, 3 oz each purple teal & medium green, sm amt each dk blue, white & black. Tapestry needle, H flexible afghan and H hooks or sizes needed to obtain gauges.
