Paula: Reversible Poncho
This poncho is knit from the top down and ends just below the elbow. If you want a larger, more covering garment, you just have to work another repeat of the lace design. The pattern is pretty on both sides, so, if you weave in the ends invisibly, you’ll have two ponchos with the knitting of one.
Sizes: S/M (L/XL)
Skeins: Fingering weight 4 (4); Laceweight 1 (1)
Bottom Circumference: 52 (56) in. / 132 (142) cm.
Length Along Center: 19 3/4 (19 3/4) in. / 50 (50) cm.
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular. US 10 (6mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Note: The poncho is worked from the top down using 3 strands of yarn held together throughout: 2 strands fingering weight and 1 strand laceweight.
