A knowledge of circular knitting is required for these patterns.

Pasture Pals are knit in one piece from the bottom-up. The doll’s body is knit in the round on dpns. Details are added with duplicate stitch and simple sewing techniques are used to define the arms and legs after knitting. The horns and ears are worked from stitches picked up from the finished doll. Bandanas are knit flat and attached to the finished doll.

Gauge

Exact gauge is not important; Choose a needle 2 or 3 sizes smaller than recommended on the ball band to create a dense fabric that will keep the stuffing hidden
