Parquet Vest
The vest is worked from the top down, starting with the back piece. After completing the armhole increases the back piece is placed on hold. Each front shoulder piece is picked up and worked separately, making increases for the neck line before joining them both together to complete the neck hole. The front piece is continued with increases for the armholes, before joining with the back piece and working the rest of the body in the round. Throughout the
garment you will be working a decorative dip stitch which is worked by pulling loops of yarn from the back of the work and slipping/knitting these loops. To finish, stitches are picked up at the armholes and neck and a folded rib edging is worked.
