Parker Crochet Baby Hat

A feminine hat ideal for a baby girl. This could easily be tackled by someone who has mastered the basic crochet stitches or a granny square.
YARN: 2 x 50g balls of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, small oddments of yarn for the flower and leaves in a similar weight yarn.
Sample shown uses Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino in shades Lilac (MC) and Robin’s Egg (CC).
Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino is a blend of 55% merino, 33% microfibre and 12% cashmere. Sold in 50g (125m) balls it is machine washable at 30°
Two balls will make two hats in the small size if you switch the main colour and contrast colour on each hat. (Alternatively any 4 ply baby yarn can be used; you’ll need 50 (75)m of your main colour and 25 (50)m of a second colour for the brim).
TENSION: First two rounds measure 5cm diameter when worked in tr with 3.75mm hook.
HOOKS AND NOTIONS: 3.75mm crochet hook
SIZE: To fit 0 – 6 months (6 – 12 months). Circumference of brim: 35 (45) cm, Height: 15 (17) cm.
SKILLS: Working in rounds, double crochet, treble crochet.
