From Pattern Description: 
This hat is worked in the round in two pieces - the sideband, which gets rolled, and the top crown. The two pieces are joined with single crochet.
Additional Yarn Information: 
In the book Cascade Pastaza #073, purple heather, was used.
Additional Needle Information: 
The pattern calls for both a 16” circular needle and a set of 4 or 5 dpns in size US 9 (5.5mm)
