Pablo the Penguin
Pablo the Penguin braves the chilly Antarctic weather in their little bobble hat. You don’t use any tricky colour-work to knit your penguin, simply change colour at the end of a row to knit stripes. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the penguin is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.
SIZES
One size only - 15cm tall (in the hat).
TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include seaming, increases and decreases.
